- 4 ripe plums
- 2 tablespoon light brown sugar
- ¼ teaspoon cardamom
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup full fat greek yogurt
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon honey
- ¼ cup roasted walnuts chopped
Preheat your oven to 400℉.
Slice the plums in half and remove the pit.
In a small bowl combine the light brown sugar, orange zest, cardamom, and salt. Using your fingers, mix it together and slightly rub between your fingers as you do so. This will infuse the sugar with the flavors of the zest so it's evenly distributed.
Place the plums in a buttered or non-stick baking dish cut side up. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture evenly on the halves and bake at 400℉ for 30 minutes until the edges start to crinkle and they release their juices.
In a bowl combine the greek yogurt and heavy cream. Whisk together until airy and loose peaks form.
Spread some whipped yogurt on the bottom of a bowl or plate. Top with plums, a drizzle of honey, and roasted walnuts. Serve immediately.
