Pizza with Onions, Garlic and Pepperoncini

A classic pizza topped off with delicious bold flavors.
Prep time: 15 mins
Cook time: 15 mins
Total time: 4 hrs 28 mins
Yield: 8 slices

  • 1 ball store-bought pizza dough
  • ¾ cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup fresh shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup fresh grated pecorino romano cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ red onion thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoon pepperoncini

  • Preheat oven to 425℉
  • Roll out pizza dough - doesn't need to be a perfect circle - and place on a baking sheet
  • Pour the tomato sauce on top of dough and spread evenly
  • Top with a layer of the onions, garlic & pepperoncini
  • Finish off by topping with the mozzarella and pecorino romano (putting the cheese on last will help the toppings stay put)
  • Bake for about 15 minutes (or to directions of your dough & cheese is melted and bubbly).
